
Boutique Opera is a non-profit organisation dedicated to providing operatic, choral and other performing opportunities for singers in the greater Wellington area.
Founded in 2002 by Lesley Graham (Wellington-based singing teacher and past-President of NEWZATS) and husband Ian, Boutique Opera offers stage experience to aspiring singers ranging in experience from novices to semi-professionals affiliated with NBR New Zealand Opera.
Boutique Opera has produced a number of major productions, including Maids Behaving Badly (2015), Tom Jones (2011), Mid-winter Mozart (2009), Trans-Atlantic (2009), King Arthur (2007), Dido and Aeneas (2005), Shades of Tarantara (2004), Comus (2002) and Shakespeare As You Like it (2001).
